Welcome! My name is Paméla and I am interested in the relationship between perceptual and production in speech mechanisms, as well as in the maturation of multisensory coordination throughout speech development.
My work draws on experimental phonetic approaches that combine acoustic, articulatory, and perceptual measurements. Through my research, I aim to better understand how speech develops and how the brain integrates auditory, visual, and proprioceptive information to support speech abilities.
